    The PCM3501 is a low-cost, 16-bit CODEC designed for modem Analog Front End (AFE) and speech processing applications. It operates from a single +2.7V to +3.6V power supply with an integrated power-down mode (60 µA typ). The device integrates delta-sigma DAC and ADC, input anti-aliasing filter, digital high-pass filter for DC blocking, and output low-pass filter. It supports master/slave operation, on-chip crystal oscillator, ADC-to-DAC loop-back mode, and time slot mode for up to four CODECs on a single serial interface, making it ideal for portable applications.
