The PT6940 series are high-efficiency dual-output integrated switching regulators designed for DSP applications requiring a second voltage source for processor cores. Both outputs are rated for 6A load current simultaneously with internal power-up sequencing to meet DSP requirements. Features include remote sensing, soft-start, short-circuit protection with coordinated shutdown, independent output adjustment via external resistors, and a 27-pin space-saving solderable copper case package. The regulators support 5V/3.3V input with single on/off control and standby functionality.
