The PTB4850x power modules are dual-output isolated DC/DC converters designed for AC-7 based xDSL applications. They provide independently regulated output voltages (3.3V and 1.2V) from a standard telecom -48V central office supply. The modules feature input voltage range of 36V to 75V, 1500VDC isolation, over-current protection, over-temperature shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and fixed frequency operation. The PTB48500 is rated for 13A total output current (32 channels), PTB48501 for 16.5A (48/64 channels), and PTB48502 for 21A (64 channels + 10W peripheral). They include enable control, power-up reset (PTB48500/PTB48501), and are designed to operate with PTB4851x modules for complete AC7 power solutions. The modules employ double-sided surface mount construction in industry standard outline.
