The TAS5036 is a 24-bit six-channel digital PWM designed for digital audio amplification. It features six independent volume controls and mute, supports multiple serial input formats including right-justified, I2S, left-justified, and DSP formats, and is compatible with AES standard sampling rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz. The device operates in AD and BD modes and is designed to drive digital amplifier power stages in H-bridge configuration. It provides up to 96-dB SNR and <0.1% THD+N, with features including soft volume/mute control, auto-mute, de-emphasis, error recovery, and clipping detection. The all-digital system contains only two analog components in the signal chain.
