TMS320BC51PQA80 [Rochester]

The TMS320C5x generation of DSPs features static CMOS technology with an architecture based on the TMS320C25. It combines advanced Harvard architecture, on-chip peripherals, on-chip memory, and a specialized instruction set for operational flexibility and speed, executing up to 50 MIPS. Advantages include enhanced architectural design for performance, modular design for fast development, advanced IC processing, upward-compatible source code, enhanced instruction set for algorithms, and new static-design techniques for low power consumption and radiation tolerance.
