They feature up to 80 MFLOPS performance, on-chip memory-mapped peripherals including one serial port, two 32-bit timers, and a one-channel DMA coprocessor. Fabricated using 0.6 μm EPIC CMOS technology, they include two 1K × 32-bit single-cycle dual-access on-chip RAM blocks, boot-program loader, and support for multiprocessor interfaces. The devices are packaged in 132-pin plastic quad flat packages (PQ Suffix).
