The UC5601 is an active terminator for SCSI and SCSI-2 buses, providing precision resistive pull-up to 2.9V for 18 lines. It features internal trimming to reduce resistor tolerances to -3% and adjust regulator output voltage for termination current accuracy of -3%. Includes a logic-commanded disconnect feature that disconnects all terminating resistors and turns off the regulator to reduce standby power. Additional features: negative clamping on all signal lines, 20mA active negation sink current capability, regulator current limiting, and thermal shutdown protection. Available in 28-pin SOIC, PLCC, and 24-pin DIL packages.
