The evaluation module provides power management for Xilinx Virtex-II Pro, Spartan-3, and Virtex-II FPGAs. It features TI's TPS54610 6A SWIFT DC/DC converter and TPS79xxx LDOs for low-noise RocketIO power. The design offers high efficiency, interchangeable SWIFT devices for 1.5A-9A loads, adjustable output compensation, integrated soft-start (10ms rise time), power sequencing, and meets Xilinx start-up profile requirements. Includes provisions for additional capacitance and customization via SWIFT design software.
