The CDx4HC243 and CDx4HCT243 are quad bus transceivers with 3-state outputs designed for two-way asynchronous communication between data buses. They feature high-drive-current outputs for high-speed operation with large bus capacitances, low power dissipation of CMOS, and speeds comparable to low-power Schottky TTL. The devices have typical propagation delay of 7ns at 5V, balanced delays, and operate over a wide temperature range (-55°C to 125°C). HC types operate from 2V to 6V with high noise immunity, while HCT types are compatible with 4.5V to 5.5V and LSTTL input levels.
