This flat cable features 28 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors on 0.050 inch centers with TPE insulation. It permits mass terminations to IDC connectors, provides excellent transmission properties at low cost, and is zippable for branching or discrete terminations. The cable has a voltage rating of 300V (USA) and <50V (EU), insulation resistance > 1 × 10^10 Ω/10 ft, characteristic impedance of 117 Ω, capacitance of 11.7 pF/ft, inductance of 0.16 μH/ft, propagation delay of 1.37 ns/ft, and velocity of propagation of 74%. It operates from -40°C to +105°C and meets UL Horizontal flammability rating (UL File E42769, Style 20297).
