The 3M™ D Ribbon Wiremount Plug, Molded Shell 3000 Series, is designed for 26-28 AWG solid or stranded wire and .050 inch round, flat, or jacketed cable. It features a low-profile molded shell with Glass Filled Polyester (PBT) insulation (UL 94V-0 flammability, gray color), copper alloy contacts with nickel underplating and gold wiping area, and stainless steel strain relief. The contact design enables multiple insertions/withdrawals. Electrical specifications include 1 A current rating, > 1 × 10^9 Ω insulation resistance at 500 V DC, and 1000 Vrms withstand voltage at sea level. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C. Optional bail mount kit (3475-X) and strain relief (3448-XX) are available separately. RoHS compliant.
