3M™ Hot Melt Connectors are easy-to-install field mount connectors that provide reliable performance in indoor and outdoor applications with no internal splice. They can be terminated using the same 3M™ Hot Melt Termination Kit 6366/6362, with LC connectors requiring an additional expansion kit 6650-LC. These connectors are designed for singlemode and multimode fiber data transport systems, including OM3 and OM4 laser optimized fibers for multi-gigabit transmission speed, and meet TIA/EIA 568-C.3, ISO 11801, and EN 50173 standards.

Meets TIA/EIA 568-C.3 standard for indoor and outdoor applications
Ease of use on backbone and horizontal cable with quick termination in <2 minutes and high yield
Adhesive fiber retention not dependent on mechanical retention alone
3M field polishing process produces <55dB reflection for singlemode
Pre-loaded adhesive eliminates epoxy mixing or mess and has no pot life
Re-heatable adhesive allows fiber repositioning
Blue dot of adhesive after fiber insertion indicates polishing completion
Environmental performance exceeds EIA/TIA 568-C.3
SC and LC connectors meet ISO 11801 and EN 50173 standards
Singlemode reflection performance of -55dB at temperature extremes
Available in LC, ST, SC, FC singlemode and multimode connectors
Provides reliable performance in indoor and outdoor applications
