3M Fire Barrier Pillow is a firestop product for through-penetration systems, achieving up to 3-hour fire ratings when tested per ASTM E 814 (UL1479). It features a graphite-free composition, multiple sizes (FB 249, FB 269, FB 369), red color for easy inspection, and easy retrofit for cable additions or replacements. It requires no wire mesh and is used in gypsum walls, block walls, concrete floors, and for cable trays, conduit banks, and steel pipes, with blank openings up to 540 sq. in.
