The AD587 is a high precision 10 V reference using a buried Zener diode and laser trimming for low noise and drift. It offers superior performance compared to band gap references, with optional fine trim capability for higher precision. The device is recommended for 8-bit to 16-bit DACs and up to 14-bit ADCs, providing better performance than standard on-chip references. It features very low output noise (typically 4 μV p-p) with a noise-reduction pin for external capacitor filtering. Available in multiple grades with different temperature ranges and package options.
