AD7399BR [Analog Devices]

Built with the Analog Devices robust CBCMOS process, these monolithic DACs offer low cost with ease-of-use in single or dual-supply systems. The applied external reference VREF determines the full-scale output voltage. Valid VREF values include VSS < VREF < VDD for wide selection of full-scale outputs. For multiplying applications, AC inputs can be as large as ±5V. A doubled-buffered serial-data interface offers high speed, 3-wire, SPI- and microcontroller-compatible inputs using SDI, CLK, and CS. A common level-sensitive LDAC input allows simultaneous update of all DAC outputs. Internal power-on reset forces output voltage to zero at system turn-on. External asynchronous reset (RS) forces all registers to zero code state. Programmable power shutdown reduces power dissipation on unused DACs. Both parts share the same pinout for easy resolution selection without layout redesign.
