The MAX98302 is a stereo 2.4W Class D amplifier that delivers Class AB audio performance with Class D efficiency. It features five selectable gain settings (6dB, 9dB, 12dB, 15dB, and 18dB) via a single GAIN input, active emissions limiting, edge-rate control, and overshoot control to reduce EMI. The filterless spread-spectrum modulation eliminates the need for output filtering, reducing component count. Industry-leading quiescent current of 1.65mA at 3.7V and 2.25mA at 5V extends battery life in portable applications. It includes click-and-pop suppression, thermal and overcurrent protection, and a low-current shutdown mode. The device comes in a space-saving 14-pin TDFN-EP package (3mm x 3mm x 0.75mm).
