It uses through-silicon-via (TSV) technology for high packing density and enables tiling of multiple arrays with minimal edge losses. The device features a highly transparent glass protection layer optimized for UV wavelengths, providing broad spectral response from 300-900 nm with peak sensitivity at 420 nm. It delivers high photo detection efficiency (>55%), excellent uniformity of breakdown voltage (180 mV 3σ), and uniform gain characteristics. Designed for low-level pulsed light detection, it excels in applications requiring precise photon counting such as Cherenkov or scintillation light detection from organic and inorganic scintillators.
