BCM5389KFBG [Broadcom]

The BCM5389 is a highly integrated switch chip with eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and integrated SerDes. It features nine MACs (802.x compliant), support for 9-KB jumbo frames, 128-KB packet buffer, non-blocking 9-Gigabit Ethernet switch fabric, SPI interface for setup and management, and support for VLAN (4k 802.1Q or port-based), QoS (802.1p priority queues), trunking, flow control, and automatic address learning and aging. It supports Spanning Tree and Rapid Spanning Tree, low power operation (<1.5W) in a 0.13 µm 1.2V CMOS core, and fanless operation. The device is packaged in a 256-pin FBGA package (17 mm x 17 mm).
