It delivers 9.5 Mpps aggregate line-rate L2/L3 switching capacity with hardware-based traffic management including metering, shaping, and scheduling (SP, RR, WRR, WFQ) down to 64-kbps flows. Features include integrated L2/L3 tables with auto-learning/aging and longest prefix match, double 802.1Q VLAN stacking (Q-in-Q), MPLS VPN support, 8 Classes of Service with WRED/WRR, ContentAware™ per-port network processing, and hardware packet replication for multicast. It supports advanced functions like ECMP/WCMP, 32 link aggregation groups, flow control, HOL blocking prevention, and 9K jumbo frames with 32 MB DDR SDRAM buffer memory.
