The MSA-1120 is a cascadable silicon bipolar MMIC amplifier designed for high dynamic range in 50Ω or 75Ω systems. It features low noise figure and high third-order intercept (IP3). Fabricated using Avago's 10 GHz fT, 25 GHz fMAX silicon bipolar process with nitride self-alignment, ion implantation, and gold metallization for excellent performance and reliability. The device includes external bias resistor support for temperature/current stability and bias flexibility. Typical applications include narrowband and broadband linear amplifiers.
