The XR3305x family are high-performance RS-485/RS-422 transceivers designed for noisy industrial environments with fault tolerance up to ±60V. They operate from 3.0V to 5.5V, feature robust ESD protection (±15kV HBM on bus pins), extended ±25V common mode operation, enhanced receiver fail-safe protection, hot swap glitch protection, driver short circuit current limit and thermal shutdown. They support up to 320 devices on the bus (XR33052/53/55) or 80 devices (XR33058), and are available in 8-pin and 14-pin NSOIC packages with operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C and -40°C to 105°C.
