VSC7216XUI-06 [MICROSEMI]

The VSC7216-02 is a low power quad 1.25Gb/s backplane transceiver with four independent channels. Each transmitter contains parallel 8-bit or 10-bit input circuitry, an 8B/10B encoder, serializer, and PECL output drivers. Each receiver contains PECL inputs, clock and data recovery, deserializer, 8B/10B decoder, elastic buffers, and parallel output drivers. The device features 2.5V supply with internal 1.8V regulator, 700mW power dissipation, redundant serial I/O, LVTTL parallel data I/O, and supports rate matching between upstream/downstream devices. It offers optional 8B/10B encoding/decoding, fast lock for asynchronous switching, adjustable latency and deskewing, analog signal detect, and includes internal loopback modes, JTAG, and BIST capabilities.
