The MC33696 is a UHF transceiver for data transfer applications in ISM bands (304, 315, 426, 434, 868, 915 MHz). It supports OOK and FSK modulation with up to 20 kbps data rate. The device operates from 2.1V to 3.6V or 5V and is programmable via SPI. It features a programmable PLL with 6 kHz step, frequency hopping capability, and low current consumption. The receiver has -106.5 dBm sensitivity, digital and analog RSSI, automatic wakeup, and embedded data processor. The transmitter has up to 7.25 dBm programmable output power. Configuration switching allows fast switching between two register banks without MCU.
