It features an internal oscillator with two programmable blink rates (frequency and duty cycle) between 0.148Hz and 38Hz, reducing bus traffic by requiring only initial setup commands. It supports up to 8 LED drivers with 25mA per bit sink current, and unused I/Os can be used as GPIOs. It operates from 2.3V to 5.5V, has I2C-bus interface compatible with SMBus, and includes power-on reset and noise filters. Packages include SO16, TSSOP16, and HVQFN16.
