The MC14541B is a programmable timer featuring a 16-stage binary counter, built-in RC oscillator, and automatic power-on reset. It operates as a 2n frequency divider or single transition timer with outputs available at 28, 210, 213, or 216 stages. The device includes output control logic with Q/Q select for output level flexibility, external master reset independent of automatic reset, and clock conditioning for slow rise/fall times. It operates over a supply voltage range of 3.0V to 18V with auto reset enabled and 8.5V to 18V with auto reset disabled. The oscillator can be bypassed for external clock input.
