CAP200DG-TL [Power Integrations]

The CAP200DG is a Zero1 Loss Automatic X Capacitor Discharge IC that blocks current through X capacitor discharge resistors when AC voltage is connected and automatically discharges X capacitors when AC is disconnected. It allows total flexibility in the choice of the X capacitor to optimize differential mode EMI filtering and reduce inductor costs, with no change in power consumption. The IC is energy efficient with <5 mW consumption at 230 VAC for all X capacitor values. It is designed with only two terminals, meeting safety standards for use before or after system input fuse, and features >4 mm creepage on package and PCB. It is self-supplied, requires no external bias, and has high common mode surge immunity and high differential surge withstand (1000 V internal MOSFETs). It is certified by NEMKO and CB (issued by UL and NEMKO).
