LinkSwitch-XT is a monolithic IC that integrates a 700 V power MOSFET, oscillator, simple ON/OFF control, frequency jittering, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and thermal shutdown. It is optimized for lowest system cost with Clampless™ designs, auto-restart protection, self-biased supply, and meets HV creepage requirements. It offers superior performance to linear/RCC designs with accurate hysteretic thermal shutdown, universal input range, and very low component count for higher reliability. EcoSmart® features enable easy compliance with global energy efficiency regulations, with no-load consumption <300 mW.
