The LinkSwitch-HP family monolithically integrates a controller and high-voltage power MOSFET into one package. It uses a multi-mode control scheme for continuous conduction mode (CCM) primary side regulated (PSR) power supplies up to 90W, eliminating the need for optocouplers and secondary control circuitry. Key features include ±5% output voltage tolerance, 132 kHz operation, programmable current limit, frequency jittering for EMI reduction, integrated soft-start, and extensive protection features. The devices offer excellent efficiency with no-load consumption below 30 mW at 230 VAC and are available in eSIP-7C, eSOP-12B, and eDIP-12B packages with heat sink mounting options.
