The TOPSwitch-HX family is an enhanced EcoSmart integrated off-line switcher with advanced features and extended power range. It features multi-mode operation for maximum efficiency at all loads, new eSIP-7F and eSIP-7C packages with low thermal impedance and low height, simple mounting, extended creepage distance, no heatsink required up to 35W, user-programmable output overvoltage protection, line undervoltage and overvoltage detection, accurate programmable current limit, optimized line feed-forward, 132 kHz frequency for smaller transformers, half frequency option for video, frequency jittering for reduced EMI, improved auto-restart, accurate hysteretic thermal shutdown, and fully integrated soft-start.
