The TOPSwitch-HX family is an enhanced EcoSmart integrated off-line switcher with advanced features and extended power range. It offers multi-mode operation for maximum efficiency at all loads, new eSIP-7F and eSIP-7C packages with low thermal impedance, and low height for space-limited adapters. Key features include output overvoltage protection, line undervoltage and overvoltage detection, accurate programmable current limit, optimized line feed-forward, 132 kHz frequency with jittering to reduce EMI filter cost, and integrated soft-start. It supports up to 35 W with universal input voltage without heatsink and up to 48 W at 230 VAC.
