TNY268P [Power Integrations]

TinySwitch-II combines a high voltage power MOSFET switch with a power supply controller in one device. It uses simple ON/OFF control to regulate output voltage, deriving operating power directly from the DRAIN pin to eliminate bias winding requirements. Features include auto-restart for fault protection, line undervoltage sense, frequency jittering for EMI reduction, and audible noise elimination. The 132 kHz operation enables smaller transformers while maintaining tight tolerances and low temperature variation. It offers the lowest component count solution with scalable device family options.
