It reduces system cost and improves design flexibility, performance, and energy efficiency. Features include extended power range, no heatsink required up to 34W, integrated soft-start, externally programmable current limit, wider duty cycle, line sensing (OV/UV), frequency jittering for reduced EMI, 132 kHz switching frequency, hysteretic thermal shutdown, and EcoSmart energy efficiency with extremely low remote off-mode power consumption.
