TOPSwitch-GX is an integrated off-line switcher family that integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET, PWM control, fault protection, and control circuitry on a single CMOS chip. It features extended power range, no heatsink required up to 34W using P/G packages, fully integrated soft-start, externally programmable current limit, wider duty cycle for more power, line sensing (OV/UV), line feed-forward with DC reduction, frequency jittering for reduced EMI, regulates to zero load without dummy loading, 132 kHz frequency reducing transformer size, hysteretic thermal shutdown, and EcoSmart energy efficiency with extremely low power consumption in remote off mode and frequency reduction at light loads for high standby efficiency.
