The TOP264-271 is part of the TOPSwitch-JX Family, an integrated off-line switcher with EcoSmart technology for highly efficient power supplies. It features multi-mode PWM control, frequency jittering, and extensive protection features including auto-restart, output short-circuit protection, over-current protection, overload protection, and overvoltage protection. The device integrates a 725 V rated MOSFET, high-voltage switched current source, multi-mode PWM control, oscillator, thermal shutdown circuit, and fault protection onto a monolithic device. It offers design flexibility with programmable current limit, line feed-forward for ripple rejection, and soft-start to minimize startup stress.
