    The ISL6218 is a precision single-phase buck PWM controller with integrated half-bridge gate driver, designed for Intel Mobile Voltage Positioning (IMVP-IV/IV+) applications. It features a 6-bit DAC for dynamic voltage adjustment (0.700V to 1.708V), loss-less current sensing using MOSFET rDS(ON), programmable switching frequency (250kHz-500kHz), and comprehensive protection including overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protection. The controller supports deep sleep and deeper sleep power states with discontinuous mode operation for improved light-load efficiency.
