The Sony IMX425LLJ-C is a Type 1.1, 1.78-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor designed for high-speed industrial imaging. It combines a 1608 × 1104 effective-pixel array with large 9.0µm square pixels and Sony Pregius global-shutter technology, enabling fast-moving objects to be captured without the geometric distortion associated with rolling-shutter sensors.
Using an eight-lane SLVS-EC connection, the sensor supports all-pixel frame rates up to 662.1fps at 8-bit, 565.1fps at 10-bit, and 481.4fps at 12-bit. It also supports conventional SLVS output, region-of-interest scanning, configurable image orientation, variable charge-integration time, and gain adjustment up to 48dB.
The IMX425LLJ-C operates from separate 3.3V analog, 1.2V digital, and 1.8V interface supplies. Integrated timing adjustment, horizontal and vertical drivers, and serial communication functions simplify its use in factory-automation cameras, intelligent transportation systems, high-speed inspection equipment, and machine-vision platforms. It is supplied in a 226-pin LGA package.
