The LD1117AV33 is a low-drop voltage regulator that can provide up to 1 An output current, as well as an adjustable version (VREF=1.25 V). In the fixed version, the following output voltages are provided: 1.2V, 1.8V, and 3.3V. The device provides: SOT-223, DPAK and TO-220. Surface mount packaging optimizes thermal properties while providing associated space-saving advantages. The NPN PASS transistor ensures high efficiency. Stability can be achieved with a very common 10 μ F minimum capacitor. Chip fine tuning allows the regulator to achieve a very strict output voltage tolerance of less than ±2% at 25 °C.
