    The TDA7715 is a high-performance audio processor for car radio applications, featuring fully integrated audio filters with programmable characteristics, soft-step control architecture, and digital control via I2C. It includes input multiplexers (quasi-differential and single-ended), volume control, loudness, bass, middle, and treble filters, high-pass and low-pass filters, speaker controls with soft-step, output drivers for internal and external amplifiers, mute functions, spectrum analyzer, AC coupling, and offset detection for failure diagnosis.

    • Volume: +23 dB to –23 dB with 1 dB step resolution, soft-step control

    • Spectrum analyzer: 7-band, fully integrated 2nd order band-pass filter with programmable filter quality
    • AC coupling: Three AC-coupling input, one AC-coupling output
    • Offset detection: Offset voltage detection circuit for on-board power amplifier failure diagnosis.
