The VIPer53E is an off-line primary switch that integrates an enhanced current mode PWM controller with a high voltage MDMesh Power MOSFET. It features switching frequency up to 300kHz, current mode control with adjustable limitation, soft start and shut-down control, automatic burst mode in standby condition (Blue Angel compliant), undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, integrated start-up current source, over-temperature protection, overload and short-circuit control, overvoltage protection, and compliance with the 2002/95/EC European Directive. It is designed for offline power supplies with output power up to 65W in European voltage range and 40W in wide range input voltage.
