It features a fast-snap-together assembly with conventional behind-the-panel mounting, a reliable bidirectional pushbutton mechanism for rapid changes to numerical settings, gold clad wiping contacts for reliable performance and long service life, a dust-sealed window protecting the readout characters which are larger than comparable thumbwheel switches, and snap-action detent for positive feedback.
