It includes a location detection hardware module for calculating node positions in ad-hoc networks. The chip combines the CC2420 RF transceiver with an enhanced 8051 MCU, 128 KB flash memory, 8 KB RAM, and supports ultra low power consumption with various operating modes and fast transition times. It enables ZigBee® nodes with low bill-of-material costs and provides a competitive solution with the industry-leading Z-Stack™ protocol stack.
