The CD74HC390, CD54HCT390, and CD74HCT390 are high-speed CMOS logic dual decade ripple counters. Each device contains two independent 4-bit decade ripple counters, each divided into a divide-by-2 and divide-by-5 section with independent clocks, allowing flexible configuration for various division ratios (2, 4, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100). Features include individual counter reset inputs, wide operating temperature range (-55°C to 125°C), balanced propagation delay and transition times, and significant power reduction compared to LSTTL logic. HC types operate from 2V to 6V with high noise immunity, while HCT types operate from 4.5V to 5.5V with direct LSTTL input logic compatibility.
