The CD74HC390 and CD74HCT390 are high-speed CMOS logic dual decade ripple counters. Each device contains two independent 4-bit decade ripple counters that can be configured for divide-by-2, divide-by-4, divide-by-5, divide-by-10, divide-by-20, divide-by-25, divide-by-50, or divide-by-100 modes. They feature two independent reset inputs for clearing each counter separately. The devices have a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to 125°C, balanced propagation delay and transition times, and low power consumption compared to LSTTL. HC types operate from 2V to 6V supply with high noise immunity, while HCT types operate from 4.5V to 5.5V with direct LSTTL input compatibility.
