The CDC5806 is a clock generator that uses three phase-locked loops (PLLs) to generate multiple output frequencies from a 54-MHz input clock. It synthesizes video clocks (VIDCLK), audio clocks (AUDCLK), CPU clock (CPUCLK), ASIC clock (ASICCLK), USB clock (USBCLK), and memory card clock (MCCLK). The device features integrated loop filters, requires no external components, and operates from a single 3.3-V supply. It is characterized for industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C) and offers low jitter performance with peak-to-peak period jitter below 150 ps. The PLLs automatically power down when no valid input clock (<5 MHz) is detected or when supply voltage drops below 2V.
