PT5802C [Texas Instruments]

The PT5800 series provides 18A of output current from a 5V input bus in a low-profile, 18-pin package. It is ideal for point-of-load power conversion where board space is premium and performance cannot be compromised. Features include adjustable output voltage (as low as 1.0V), output margin control (±5%), on/off inhibit, short circuit protection, thermal shutdown, differential remote sense, and pre-bias startup capability. The integral copper case construction requires no heatsink and offers solderability and a small footprint (0.736 in² for suffix 'N'). Both through-hole and surface mount pin configurations are available.
