The VCA2618 is a dual variable gain amplifier with input buffer, featuring a VGA section that combines a Voltage Controlled Attenuator (VCA) and a Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA). The PGA gain and range can be digitally programmed, resulting in variable gain from 0dB up to a maximum user-defined gain. It includes a single-ended unity gain input buffer providing high input impedance, and outputs can be used in single-ended or differential mode to drive high-performance A/D converters. The device features low crosstalk, outstanding distortion performance, low noise, and includes a power-down mode for reduced power consumption. Available in a TQFP-32 package.
