OP293C [TT Electronics]

The OP290 series includes gallium aluminum arsenide infrared LEDs available in T-1¾, TO-18, or TO-46 packages. They offer choices in irradiance pattern (narrow/wide), power ranges, and electrical parameters (A, B, C, AA, AB, AC, AD). Key features include higher power output than GaAs LEDs, wavelengths of 890 nm (850/875 nm for OP298 high-irradiance models), and a silver-copper lead frame for thermal performance. The series supports pulse forward currents up to 5A (OP295) and continuous currents up to 200mA (OP293/OP298 with heat sink). Devices are spectrally and mechanically matched to OP593 and OP598 phototransistors.
