The OP950 Series consists of PIN silicon photodiodes molded in an epoxy package with spectral response from visible to infrared light wavelengths. The side-looking package is designed for easy PCBoard mounting and space-limited applications. Models include OP950 (95° wide receiving angle), OP954 (128° very wide receiving angle), and OP955 (95° wide receiving angle with recessed lens providing 45° acceptance half-angle). They are mechanically and spectrally matched to OPTEK's GaAs and GaAiAs infrared emitting diodes.
