The OPV322 VCSEL utilizes 850 nm VCSEL technology with high thermal stability, low drive current, high output power, and narrow beam angle. It requires substantially lower drive currents than LEDs for equivalent output power, enabling low-power consumption applications. The dome lens packaging creates a narrow beam angle that eliminates secondary optics in long-distance applications. It is optically and spectrally compatible with Optek's standard detector products (OP600, OP300, OP900 series).
