The Camera v2 is the new official camera board from Raspberry Pi Foundation. It features an 8 megapixel Sony IMX219 sensor, capable of capturing static images at 3280x2464 pixels and video at 1080p30, 720p60, and 640x480p90. It uses a fixed focus lens and attaches via the dedicated CSi interface. The sensor has 1.4µm x 1.4µm pixels with OmniBSI technology for high sensitivity and low noise, and an optical size of 1/4". All software is supported in the latest Raspbian OS.
